Water sports in a class of their own
Lake Weissensee is popular with keen swimmers, sun worshippers and water sports enthusiasts alike. Whether surfing, sailing, wakeboarding, diving, water skiing, riding on the banana boat or kayaking – the possibilities are endless. Pedalos and canoes are also available for hire.
If you prefer a really big boat, you can hop on one of the large Weissensee ferries. They run regularly from May to October between Techendorf and the eastern shore of Lake Weissensee.
As the lake is fjord-like and has crystal clear water, it is particularly suitable for special diving experiences. With a visibility of up to 20 metres, it is one of the most beautiful diving spots in the Alps.
If you prefer wilder waters, you can book thrilling rafting and canyoning tours and explore the rivers and gorges around Lake Weissensee.
