Hiking in the Weissensee Nature Park
Hiking in the Weissensee Nature Park is all about experiencing pure nature in all its diversity. There are 200 km of marked hiking trails from 930–2300 m above sea level. They range from easy hikes for the whole family to leisurely mountain hut tours to challenging routes to the top of the most scenic peaks for mountaineers. The Weissensee cable car and the ferries are often used by hikers to make one route or another easier.
The nine themed hiking trails in the region – by the lake and up in the Alpine pastures – are becoming more popular every year. There are also 12 running trails and nine Nordic walking trails of all levels of difficulty at Lake Weissensee.
